In April 2019, Laura Flanders interviewed Mary Robinson, former President of Ireland and U.N. Special Envoy on Climate Change, at the Bellagio Women's Leadership Forum. Robinson speaks on producing visionary women leaders and dismantling patriarchy, particularly as tools for achieving climate justice.
The future will have either of two opinions of our current moment: they will either be damning about how we wasted this opportunity to change our circumstances, or they will be proud of how we used this time to nurture women leaders that propelled climate justice and resilient relationships to the planet. So says Robinson, who co-hosts a podcast titled 'Mothers of Invention' and is the author of 'Climate Justice: Climate Justice: Hope, Resilience, and the Fight for a Sustainable Future.'
