Walid Daqqa, A Palestinian figure, spent 38 years in prison after being convicted of leading a group affiliated with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. The group kidnapped and killed an Israeli soldier. He denied the charge of leading the group but was convicted nonetheless.
