Supreme Court Allows Abortion Pill Sales - For Now
The United States Supreme Court last Friday allowed sales of a medication abortion pill called mifepristone to continue while a lawsuit brought by a Christian fundamentalist group wends its way through courts. The ruling brought a sigh of relief to a nation where not even a year has passed since the Supreme Court overturned the Roe V. Wade abortion precedent. But the future of accessible medication-induced abortion remains highly uncertain.
