How Journalists Are Changing Their Views Of Police

Sonali Kolhatkar speaks with Alicia Bell.

One of the many disturbing hallmarks of police brutality aimed at protests against police brutality, are the attacks on journalists. Police in cities across the country appear to be refusing to distinguish between protesters and clearly identifiable journalists covering the protests.

On the one hand this represents a chilling violation of press freedom. On the other hand, journalists are now more sympathetic than before to the victims of police violence and the demands of Black Lives Matter.
