Undoing the Racial Wealth Gap
The Brookings Institution recently published findings on the racial wealth gap and how, while White families have a median wealth of $188,200, Black families have only $24,100. The gap between White and Black family wealth continues to increase. But, my guest Ericka Taylor wrote in Yes! Magazine, says that this inequality was baked into our society from the beginning and that dismantling the racial wealth gap will require intentional and systemic efforts.
