Trump May Have Demanded IRS Revenge Audits of James Comey & Andrew McCabe

In what could be yet another crime possibly committed by Donald Trump and/or the people around him, Former FBI Director James Comey and his deputy Andrew McCabe may have been the victims of revenge audits by the IRS for having investigated connections between Russia and the 2016 Trump campaign. Both Comey and McCabe were subjected to targeted IRS audits, which are very rare and have only a 1-in-30,000 per year prevalence. Out of 153 million tax returns filed in 2017, only 5,000 people were chosen for these supposedly random audits and Comey and McCabe just so happened to be two of them. A spokesperson for Donald Trump has denied knowing anything about these audits. The chances of these two individuals being selected for these types of audits in the same year are so miniscule it suggests there’s something fishy here to investigate.
