Donald Trump is absolutely losing his mind over the January 6th hearings and posted a number of “truths” to his social media platform as they were happening. The former president expressed disgust that the committee wasn’t looking to legitimize his bogus voter fraud claims. He said in a post, “the Unselect Committee didn’t spend one minute studying the reason that people went to Washington, D.C., in massive numbers, far greater than the Fake News Media is willing to report. . .” Today, Trump disputed the claim that he approved of the rioters’ idea to execute Mike Pence. He said in a Truth Social post, “I NEVER said, or even thought of saying, ‘Hang Mike Pence.’ This is either a made up story by somebody looking to become a star, or FAKE NEWS!” The ex-POTUS can’t seem to simply ignore the hearings and is desperate to take back control of the narrative about the events of January 6, 2021.
