While all eyes are on the Presidential race on November 3^rd, there are also 35 seats in the US Senate up for election. Even if a Democrat wins the White House this fall, it is control of the US Senate that determines how effectively a new President can govern. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has demonstrated as much, controlling the legislative agenda and judicial nominations like no one in recent memory.
