Rudy Giuliani has been in the news recently for his supposed exposés of Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden. Giuliani is in the news now for a totally different reason and this time he wishes he wasn’t. Sacha Baron Cohen’s second Borat film comes out tomorrow and the movie contains a scene wherein a character playing Borat’s daughter gets Giuliani in a compromising position at a hotel. The woman reportedly removes Rudy’s microphone after an interview, at which point Rudy leans back on a bed and starts taking off his pants and fondling himself. At this point, Baron Cohen, as his Borat character, runs into the room in ridiculous attire yelling and causing a scene.
Giuliani has tried to get ahead of this story, posting on Twitter, “The Borat video is a complete fabrication. I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment. At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate. If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise he is a stone-cold liar." People familiar with the movie claim that the scene is even worse than described, something we will find out tomorrow when it is released. If Rudy Giuliani has even a shred of credibility left, it’s likely to be taken away tomorrow by this boneheaded decision.
