Ron DeSantis Blows Past Trump In New Presidential Poll

If the Republican Primary took place today, Ron DeSantis would defeat Donald Trump in New Hampshire. According to The Independent:

The survey from the University of New Hampshire indicated that Mr DeSantis would win the support of 39 percent of GOP primary voters, compared to just 37 percent who said they would support Mr. Trump. Those were the only two names to even breach double digits in the poll.

In October 2021, there was a 21-point-gap between the two candidates, which DeSantis has closed in under one year. Although Donald Trump is clearly a tyrant, Ron DeSantis is arguably far more dangerous. He has all of the same horrific policies as Trump with none of the baggage, allowing him to ingratiate himself with moderates. If DeSantis wins the Republican primary in 2024, Joe Biden could be in serious trouble.
