Kari Lake is now calling for a new election against Katie Hobbs after losing to her last month in the Arizona gubernatorial election. Lake’s supporters, including Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA, are encouraging this move despite the fact that Lake simply lost fair and square and always said she wasn’t going to concede if she lost. Lake and her allies have made baseless allegations of fraud and bias in the election, shifting their accusations depending on what narrative they need at the time. Kari explained to Charlie the difficulties she has had in hiring attorneys for her case, claiming that some have refused to take it on due to threats from the left and concerns about being sanctioned. Lake will continue flailing around in the dark until Katie Hobbs is sworn in as governor. Ultimately, her attempt to have a new election will be laughed out of court since it’s obvious she’s just trying to come up with excuses for why she lost.
