Fox News reporter Peter Doocy has returned to the White House press room after coming down with COVID-19, and he wasted no time trying to score points against Press Secretary Jen Psaki.
Doocy pushed subtle anti-vax talking points by glossing over; COVID vaccines are highly effective against hospitalization and death. He said, “I’m triple vaxxed, still got COVID. You’re triple vaxxed, still got COVID. Why is the president referring to this as a pandemic of the unvaccinated?”
Psaki fired back a “huge difference” between someone getting minor symptoms like a runny nose or a cough versus someone ending up on a ventilator in the intensive care unit. The point of Doocy’s question was to give credence to those in the Fox audience who are vaccine skeptical.
