Barely has Biden been declared president-elect when he appears ready to push progressives out the door with his announcements of numerous problematic figures for key cabinet positions.

Rahm Emanuel, former Obama White House chief of staff and Chicago Mayor, is a strong contender for Transportation Secretary. But Emanuel is notorious for pushing a center-right agenda on issues of criminal justice, climate, public education, healthcare, and more.
