Bryce Mitchell shares his take on Russian invasion of Ukraine

UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell made headlines last week for his take on the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and it was so compelling to the right-wing that Tucker Carlson had to have him on his program. Mitchell said at a UFC press event that even though he doesn’t know what’s going on in Ukraine, and doesn’t think anyone knows what’s going on in Ukraine, there was certainly something corrupt going on there related to Joe and Hunter Biden. In a hero’s welcome interview with Tucker, the Fox News propagandist made it seem as though the controversy was over Mitchell saying he’d fight for Arkansas and the United States but not for Ukraine. In truth, that’s not why Bryce received criticism over his statements. He got criticism for claiming ignorance and then spewing right-wing conspiratorial talking points. Mitchell went back into that realm during the interview, saying, “I believe our leaders, a lot of these elites are guilty of treason.” We’ll see if Bryce is able to get another round of press attention for his positions on foreign policy, or if this will be the end of his “hot takes.”
