Lynnette Hardaway, also known as Diamond, of the pro-Trump duo Diamond and Silk, has died at the age of 51. The cause of death is believed to be related to COVID-19, but this has not been confirmed. Diamond and Silk were known for their strong support of President Trump and their vocal opposition to vaccines. The pair's verified Twitter account has requested privacy and has not provided any additional information on the manner of death. President Trump released a statement mourning the loss: "Really bad news for Republicans and frankly, ALL Americans. Our beautiful Diamond, of Diamond and Silk, has just passed away at her home in the State she loved so much, North Carolina. Silk was with her all the way, and at her passing. There was no better TEAM anywhere, or at any time! Diamond’s death was totally unexpected, probably her big and precious HEART just plain gave out.
