The overturning of Roe V. Wade has set back women’s rights, human rights,  and has created  a public health emergency. The SCOTUS decision won’t stop abortions, it will just make them unsafe and out of reach for poor pregnant people, people of color, and those are already underserved by healthcare.

26 states will now ban or severely restrict abortion access, but there are things we can do. Needabortion.org connects those who need to travel with resources and information, and The National Network of Abortion Funds provides financial support. 

We also must keep fighting at a legislative level to protect abortion access.  Congress needs to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act which would protect abortion access from state-level abortion bans and restrictions.

We are all impacted by this, we cannot stay silent.
