Despite reports of US tensions with Europe under President Donald Trump’s tenure, the NATO alliance formed between US and European nations remains strong.

A deployment of tens of thousands of US troops to Europe next month has been announced to conduct military exercises in a show of force against Russia. It is to be the largest US deployment of troops to Europe in 25 years.
