An interesting new Wall Street Journal poll has Joe Biden up nine points nationally. The poll also measured support by demographic. Donald Trump is winning among men, but barely — 47% to 43%. Trump is also winning among people with a high school education or less, 54% to 36%. Trump is winning the white vote, 49 to 42%. That’s basically where the positive numbers end for Trump. He is losing sizably among college grads, black voters, women, Hispanics, and many other demographics.

Donald Trump's campaign has objectively been one of lying to voters about things he could never possibly do and making people "fall for" voting for him. Being more educated makes people more likely to see through Trump’s con. Many white folks in this country fear losing status to minorities who are gradually becoming a bigger piece of the American mosaic. White voters who are scared of that transition are more likely to vote for Trump. It is easy to write-off the pockets of Trump support when Biden is winning by a landslide in so many categories. But the numbers in 2016 were not all that different and everyone needs to vote this election cycle.
