Donald Trump sat down for a one-on-one interview on OANN, and he’s still talking about overturning the 2020 election which was now well over a year ago. Trump suggested being only days away from the results finally getting flipped, saying that “we ran a third world election. And things are coming out over the next couple of days, maybe even today in one case. I hear a very big story is coming out today on the cheating. And numerous states are going to be turned. I don’t know what they’re going to do but it’s going to show that they were won by me.”
Trump then bragged about the crowd sizes he’s able to draw, pointing specifically to the audience at the “Save America Rally” on January 6, 2021, which Trump called “the largest crowd I’ve ever spoken before.” The former president then claimed the media is censoring the pictures of the crowds on Insurrection Day in an effort to make him look bad. Even in 2022, Trump is delivering these same tired old talking points yet he manages to remain the figurehead of the Republican Party.
