Trump Makes a Speech to Rabid CPAC Audience

The 2022 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) took place over the weekend and it was headlined by an erratic speech from Donald Trump. The former president didn’t officially announce a 2024 run, however, he strongly implied it by saying, “[Democrats] are going to find out the hard way starting on November 8th and then even more so on November 2024. They will find out like never before. We did it twice and we’ll do it again.”

During the rest of the speech, Trump had some extremely awkward moments, including at one point singling out Congressman Ronnie Jackson, who was Trump’s White House physician. He said about Jackson, “he knows every inch of me and he thinks it’s actually a beautiful sight.” The rest of the speech was full of Trump playing his greatest hits, including falsely claiming he ended the wars in Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan, bragging about his Supreme Court picks and lying about Hillary Clinton spying on his administration.
