Trump Explodes, Posts Uncontrollably to Truth Social

Donald Trump went on a social media tirade yesterday on his platform Truth Social about the 2022 midterm primaries and his endorsement record. The former president celebrated wins by people like Trumpist Senate candidate Blake Masters while poking fun at Rusty Bowers losing his primary after testifying against Trump in the January 6th hearings. One post claimed, “BIG, HISTORIC WINS for Trump-endorsed candidates across the Country last night! Now 15-0 in Senate primaries, Perfect Records in Arizona, Kansas, Michigan, and Missouri. Congratulations to our MAGA Candidates!” The truth about Trump’s endorsement record is a lot more mixed. For the most part, he’s just been endorsing incumbents and candidates who already had a strong lead in the polls. When one of his candidates loses, he just says it’s because they didn’t back him strongly enough or he simply ignores the race altogether.
