The Trump administration is trying to take away protection for endangered species. Critical habitat should be provided for these species of suitable sizes. The new rules are starting to prevent this provision.

Noah Greenwald joins Thom Hartmann to discuss whether this is due to the protection of the fossil fuel industry or logging. Greenwald is the Endangered Species Director at Center for Biological Diversity where he directs efforts to protect new species under the Endangered Species Act.
