It's eye-opening to see how many people and groups are only speaking up about the harm caused by the loss of abortion rights now that it directly affects them. But the truth is, Black and Brown women have been disproportionately impacted by these attacks since the overturning of Roe v. Wade. For far too long, their struggles have been sidelined, their voices ignored. This isn't a new fight for reproductive justice—these communities have been carrying the burden for years. It's time we recognize their leadership and stand with them in the ongoing battle for reproductive rights and justice for all. Let's not wait until it’s too late to speak up.
