The time is NOW for voting rights. Once again, democracy is on the brink.
We recently marked the one year anniversary of an insurrection that tried to overturn the will of the people. Since then, more than 400 voter suppression bills were introduced across 49 states.
If Congress does not urgently pass federal voting rights legislation, the midterms will take place amid gerrymandering and voting restrictions disenfranchising voters of color, the elderly, the poor and people with disabilities.
