Both her co-host on Rising from Hill.TV and co-author of the book, Saagar Enjeti, shares a more right-wing perspective on populism. On the other hand, Ball shares a left-wing perspective on populism, she says. Ball explains that populism can both explain Donald Trump's rise, as well as the rise of Bernie Sanders and AOC.
