Mo Brooks May Be Ready To Testify Against Trump

Rep. Mo Brooks of Alabama announced that he is willing to appear before the January 6th committee to testify about his interactions with Donald Trump, but only if he is allowed to do so in public. Brooks, who has represented Alabama’s 5th congressional district since 2011, lost his race to Katie Britt, who has supported Trump’s claims of voter fraud in the 2020 election. Mo Brooks was initially endorsed by Donald Trump, but was subsequently un-endorsed in March after he remarked that Republicans should focus on the 2022 and 2024 election cycles rather than dwell on 2020. The timing of this is interesting, suggesting that Mo Brooks is possibly out for revenge against Trump for putting his political career to an end.
