Congresswomen Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert reportedly got into a verbal altercation in the women's bathroom on January 3rd, as Congress was getting ready to vote for the Speaker of the House. According to sources who spoke to The Daily Beast, the altercation occurred when Greene was exiting a stall and confronted Boebert about her plan to prevent Kevin McCarthy from getting the gavel. Greene allegedly accused Boebert of taking money from McCarthy for her campaign but not showing loyalty in return, and the two reportedly exchanged words before Boebert stormed out. The incident is seen as a sign of the splintering and sub-splintering of the Republican Party. This creates an excellent opportunity for the left to focus on maintaining unity and addressing important issues such as healthcare, inequality, climate change, education, and much more.
