Marjorie Taylor Greene appeared on a local television show in Georgia called “Night Talk” and made the case that it’s okay that she believes something completely bonkers because her supporter base feels the same way. The context was that Greene was asked about the legitimacy of the 2020 election. She responded, “I am always proud to support President Trump, Judy. I'm so grateful for the way he led our country with his America First policies. I miss him very much being our president, and so do a lot of people. And I do. I say all the time. I really feel like he won the state of Georgia and I do think he won the 2020 election. But do you want to know something? It's okay for me to say that because a lot of people feel the same way.” Of course, MTG doesn’t have any evidence to back up her “feelings” and just because a bunch of people believe something, that doesn’t make it true.
