Andrew Perez, reporter for the Daily Poster, has a warning. The healthcare insurance industry is trying to deny coverage for emergency room visits. UnitedHealthcare recently sparked outcry by saying it may retroactively deny ER claims. Documents suggest they've been doing this for years.

United Healthcare is checking emergency rooms to see if it is a ‘real’ emergency. Who defines an emergency, the individual in distress, or an insurance company? Insurance companies apparently decide how much of an emergency you are suffering.
