The recent raid by the Federal Bureau of Investigation at Donald Trump’s residence in his Mar-a-Lago Florida resort has pro-Trump forces up in arms. Even though it appears that Trump illegally took boxes of sensitive documents into his custody, the fact that federal law enforcement, for the first time ever, raided a former president, is enough to generate far-fetched accusations and conspiracy theories.
