Boulder Colorado was recently the site of yet another mass shooting. 10 lives were lost. This touches close to home. Free Speech TV has its roots in Boulder and I personally lost a friend. We’re not alone. Atlanta Georgia, Orange County California and countless other communities have borne this pain and trauma.
Too many people are dying by gun violence, including gun owners themselves. Aside from mass shootings, there were nearly 25,000 suicides by gun in 2019. In fact, suicides have long accounted for the majority of U.S. gun deaths.
The American Public Health Association says gun violence is a national public health epidemic.
Sensible gun control isn’t about denying people’s constitutional rights, it's about saving lives. America has more guns than people, and the time is overdue to balance rights with responsibilities so that we can all live free from gun tragedies.
