Exxon’s Dirty Tricks Revealed Amid Deadly Heat Wave

Sonali Kolhatkar speaks with Collin Rees about the cause of the northwest deadly heatwave.

Nearly 100 people have died from a record-breaking heat wave in the northwestern state of Oregon. Further north, the situation was even worse as the Canadian town of Lytton in British Colombia was wiped off the map as it literally burned to the ground from wildfires sparked by lightning strikes and fueled by temperatures reaching 121 degrees Fahrenheit. Amid these deadly confirmations of climate change, the UK-based investigative media outlet, Greenpeace Unearthed, published shocking revelations of how the world’s biggest fossil fuel company, Exxon Mobil, pulls the strings of the U.S. government to ensure no serious action on combating climate change.

GUEST: Collin Rees, Senior Campaigner, Oil Change International.
