Did Eric Trump know about the attack Iranian Kuds leader Qassim Soleimani in advance? It appears so. Donald Trump's son tweeted on December 31st:
Bout to open up a big ol’ can of whoop ass #DontMessWithTheBest #USAUSAUSA
This tweet is now believed to be evidence that Eric Trump had prior knowledge of the attack. He has subsequently deleted the tweet.
This attack was done without Congressional approval. Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer was not told, but Eric Trump, who has no security clearance, seems to have been told prior to the attack.
In December, 5 top Pentagon officials resigned in a span of 7 days. It is now believed that perhaps this plan was in the works, and that is a possible explanation for the resignations.
