Defending Native Sacred Sites From Elon Musk and SpaceX

Billionaire Elon Musk’s poor leadership of Twitter and Tesla has made headlines for months now. But a story that has received little national attention is his years long takeover of a part of a Texas community near the border for his space technology company, SpaceX.

Writing in YES! Magazine, indigenous journalist Frank Hopper details how the Carrizo Comecrudo Tribe of Texas has been fighting Musk for control of lands that are sacred to them and that they are regularly cut off from because of SpaceX’s launch pad.
