CIVIL WAR: Republican Says Boebert's "Christian Taliban" Must Be Stopped

Republican Congressman is lashing out at his Republican colleague Lauren Boebert, referring to her as a member of the “Christian Taliban.” Last Sunday, Boebert said that she is sick of this “separation of church and state junk,” insisting that “the church is supposed to direct the government.” Kinzinger fired back, tweeting that “There is no difference between this and the Taliban. We must oppose the Christian Taliban. I say this as a Christian.” Although Republicans love to talk about Sharia Law in the Middle East, they rarely call out the extremists within their own ranks, so it’s impressive to see Kinzinger take a stand against encroaching Christian theocracy, and hopefully other Republicans will follow suit.
