America's middle class has been shrinking. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren have a plan that could bring back the middle class. Building up the middle class after Reagan is going to be tough. "Whenever we slide into laissez faire capitalism, what we end up with is a reduction of a middle class," Thom Hartmann says. It results in a "stealing of the wealth of the middle class," he continues more sharply. A "real progressive" is necessary to rebuild the middle class, Hartmann concludes. That is why Hartmann is delighted that two progressives are in the Democratic race: Warren and Sanders.
