Infowars host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones spoke outside of a Connecticut courthouse about the latest Sandy Hook defamation lawsuit he’s up against. Jones went on a diatribe that clearly demonstrated he has no idea how the judicial process works. The judge in this case, like in the previous one in Texas, ruled Jones liable by default since his lawyers would not comply with discovery. Alex complained, “this judge is a tyrant. This judge is ordering me to say that I'm guilty and to say that I'm a liar. None of that's true.” Jones should know from his previous lawsuit that the term isn’t “guilty” but rather “liable” since this is a civil case. He could have avoided this default judgment by cooperating with the process, but evidently, he and his lawyers thought that would be a bad idea. Now Jones wants to play the victim and act like he’s being unfairly persecuted and not given a chance to defend himself when that opportunity has long passed.
