Become a Part of The Assembly

Free Speech TV is proud to premiere a new topical program that digs deep into the issues defining this moment in history. The Assembly is a non-traditional talk show where passionate doers come together to have unfiltered and inspired conversations about changing the world. Our guests aren’t just “commentators” and this ain’t The View. These are people whose voices aren’t often heard in the mainstream; the people who are actually doing the hard work of making the world more just and free, discussing the real, sometimes difficult, issues of the day.

In the process, we are inspiring The Assembly community (our viewers) to learn more, have their own authentic conversations and take action in whatever way is right for them, right where they are.

Watch the latest episodes of The Assembly here.

Tune in Tuesday, June 12 at 8:30 p.m. ET to watch “Side B” of the final Assembly: A Conversation About the Future. Host Erica Williams Simon and co-host Rosario Dawson assemble with Will.i.am, Bamby Salcedo, Gopal Dayaneni, Alicia Seay to envision a future that is more just than the moment we live in now. This episode opens with a performance of “Home” by poet Aleysa Wise, and closes with a spoken-word performance of “Heteropatriarchy” by Evan Rachel Wood.  (Did you miss “Side A” of this conversation about the future? Don’t worry — you can watch it anytime right here.)

All full episodes of The Assembly will be available on-demand at Freespeech.org/assembly beginning at 8:30 pm ET on the day they premiere, and available on-demand Free Speech TV’s Roku and Apple TV apps one day after the premiere. Check the full schedule for additional broadcast times.
