Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky conducted a Livestream speech to the European Union yesterday for which he got a standing ovation. Zelensky has been getting a tremendous amount of admiration from people all over the world for his bravery and defiance in the face of the Russian invasion. Zelensky’s said during his speech (translated into English) “we are fighting just for our land and for our freedom. Despite the fact that all large cities of our country are now blocked, nobody is going to enter and intervene with our freedom and country.” The interpreter was even getting emotional over the speech, sounding like he was tearing up from Zelensky’s words. If Ukraine does end up falling, it won’t be from a lack of passion or resolve from the country or its leadership, but rather from the sheer size of the Russian military which continues to ramp up its advance on Kyiv and the other major cities.
