Tulsi Gabbard, former Hawaii Congresswoman fresh off her leave from the Democratic Party, is now campaigning for election denier and Republican Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake. Gabbard appeared at an event alongside Lake and the two acted like longtime friends. When Kari looked out at the crowd, she said, “I feel like a rockstar up here, Tulsi,” Gabbard responded, “you are a rockstar, Kari.” Many suspected that after Tulsi announced she was leaving the Democratic Party, she would spend some time pretending to be a centrist before going down the full-on Trumpian route. Instead, she’s straight into being a figurehead in right-wing politics with some considering her to be a potential running mate for Donald Trump or Ron DeSantis in 2024.
