Donald Trump is now consistently posting to his new social media site Truth Social and used it to comment in real-time on the results coming in for Tuesday’s primary races. Trump tried taking credit for the now undecided Republican Senate race in Pennsylvania by saying “remember, all three candidates in Pennsylvania were ‘Ultra’ MAGA!” Clearly, the former president is trying to hedge his bets in case Mehmet Oz, the candidate he endorsed, doesn’t come out on top. Trump also posted, “Dr. Oz should declare victory. It makes it much harder for them to cheat with the ballots that they ‘just happened to find.’” Of course, this is the exact technique that Trump used for the 2020 election and at the very least it persuaded many of his supporters into wrongfully thinking that he had won. Of course, Trump didn’t post about Congressman Madison Cawthorn, a Trump endorsee who lost his reelection effort. Instead, he posted, “the Fake News Media is having a really hard time saying that MAGA, and Trump, didn’t have anything but a spectacular evening of voting & winning. Hold on, the best is yet to come!”
