Donald Trump explodes and intervenes to get Roger Stone a lighter prison sentence. In the middle of the night, Trump tweeted his outrage at prosecutors seeking a nine year sentence for Stone. He typed:
"This is a horrible and very unfair situation. The real crimes were on the other side, as nothing happens to them. Cannot allow this miscarriage of justice!"
The Justice Department decided to intervene in the case to seek a shorter sentence. As a result, four federal prosecutors withdrew from the case.
"Don't be tricked," warns David Pakman. "This is very irregular. This is our justice system being subjugated by the oval office for political reasons successfully."
