Donald Trump has been caught scamming his own supporters again with a fundraising email that was ostensibly to support Herschel Walker’s runoff race in Georgia. Trump’s Save America PAC by default was having contributions go 90% into Trump’s coffers and only 10% into Walker’s election. In order to change the allocation, donors would have to click a link that would reveal who gets what percent of the money. After this was highlighted, Trump’s committee changed the allocation to an even 50/50 split. Walker’s campaign has been warning about fundraising tactics like these, which is insane since Trump is supposed to be one of Herschel’s biggest allies in the race. These scam tactics are typical for Trump and he’ll continue doing them for as long as he can get away with it. The ex-president doesn’t actually care about these other candidates and his own supporters beyond their ability to prop him up and get him back in the White House.
