Audio has surfaced of Donald Trump talking to journalist Bob Woodward during the early months of 2020 for Woodward’s new book, “Rage.” Some of the statements made by Trump are hugely damaging and confirm suspicions we had all along. On February 7th, long before most Americans knew about the dangers of coronavirus, Trump said he was “playing it down” as not to create a “panic.” The President also said the virus was airborne, but in the early months, Americans were told it spread from touch. The recordings suggest Trump knew about the severity of coronavirus, yet he did little to nothing in February to prepare the country.
During one of the interviews, Trump told Woodward that coronavirus was much worse than the seasonal flu. Yet in public, Trump was in the habit of comparing COVID-19 to the flu during the shutdown phase. It seems like every couple of days a new Trump quote comes out that proves he is totally unfit for office.
