Oregon passed historic gun safety law that should go into effect but far-right groups are delaying it through lawsuit after lawsuit. Measure 114 in Oregon shows too many people have died from gun violence in the state. A grassroots campaign created a vote on the ballot in November 2022. The ballot passed and banned the sale of a magazine with more than 10 bullets. Before buying a gun in Oregon, background checks must also be completed in full. And now . . . there are legal challenges against the measure.
