Republicans may actually vote for John Bolton to testify. Calling witnesses requires only a simple majority in the Senate. Growing signs point to, at least, Mitt Romney and Susan Collins voting for Bolton to testify.

Republicans are increasingly under pressure to call on Bolton. Their defense has stated that no witnesses have first hand knowledge of aid being held by Trump. Now though, the New York Times is reporting that Bolton's manuscript indicates that he had first hand knowledge.
