The Republican National Committee is caught sending fundraising emails with bogus push surveys disguised as official 2020 Census documents. David Pakman plays a clip of Katie Porter (D-CA) questioning the Census Bureau director about the RNC's mailer.
“This is not the first time that we have seen the RNC … try to confuse voters by sending them a mailer that imitates the census,” she said. “This mailing has already gone out, so the time to stop it has already happened.”
Trump's appointed Census Bureau Director, Steven Dillingham, said he wasn't "sure who sent it out." Congresswoman Porter pointed out what he surely already knew: that it was in fact paid for by the RNC. Dillingham then offered to "study this problem.”
