MSNBC analyst Malcolm Nance has joined the Ukrainian military in its effort to fight off the invading Russian army. Nance is a former United States Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer who has become a media pundit and author. He has bravely chosen to put that life aside to fight for a cause he believes in, joining Ukraine's international legion of territorial defense about a month ago. Nance appeared on Joy Reid’s show from a secure location and said, “the more I saw the war going on, the more I thought I’m done talking, alright, it’s time to take action here.” Some believe that what Nance is doing is glorifying war, but that’s not the right approach to be taking. Ukraine was invaded by a hostile enemy through no fault of its own, and if someone has military expertise and feels inclined to help out, they should be able to do that.
