Ginni Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, was heavily involved in the attempt to overturn the 2020 election results and the lead up to the January 6th Capitol riots. Ginni was emailing with Trump attorney John Eastman and Arizona lawmakers who wanted to send an alternate slate of electors to Washington DC. The January 6th Committee has obtained these records and are now considering whether to dedicate more time in the hearings to discussing Ginni’s alleged role in inspiring the attacks. What makes her involvement particularly egregious is that she is the wife of a Supreme Court Justice and the SCOTUS is supposed to be an apolitical entity. It’s conceivable that Ginni didn’t share her intentions with her husband, but that’s rather hard to believe. In a sane world, there would be an investigation into whether or not Clarence was at all involved with his wife’s efforts, and impeachment hearings if he was, but it doesn’t
