He is now emboldened to do what he can to interfere in the next election. Then, if he loses, he could discontinue the American tradition of a "peaceful transition," of power. Pakman imagines that if the election is close, Trump will claim it is "rigged" or the counting is wrong. If the margin is big, Trump will also complain that the process was rigged, according to Pakman.
